Roland de Vries - Tandem Pilot ‘aka Volstruis’€¯ Roland started his paragliding career in 1997 and founded the academy in 2000. He is an enthusiastic Instructor/Tandem Pilot which, through his teachings and flying, has put many smiles on many faces.
Sukan Sahin - Tandem Pilot He started paragliding in 1999, and boasts over 2000hrs airtime. Confidant and safe, but fun pilot - do not miss the chance to fly with this charismatic pilot.
Kristy de Vries - Whip cracker Kristy met Roland in 2004 when he threw her with his helmet€, she joined the team shortly after that and the rest, as they say, is history. Now also a pilot, but like most better halves€¯ runs the behind the scenes€¯ section of the school, cracking the whip.
Tanya van der Merwe - Designer and ground crew Tanya started her training with Windmaster in 2010. With her super designing skills and enthusiasm towards the sport and the team, she very quickly became a key member, helping Kristy to keep the boys under control urbanescance designs
Roland (Rolie) de Vries - Pilot Only 16 years old and the youngest member of our team. Yes, you can say he was born with it, but watch this space€¦ Although he only started paragliding in 2010, he already has more than 700 flights and is currently working on becoming South Africa’s youngest tandem pilot alongside his dad.
