INDEPENDENCE OFFERS for Basic
Licensed Pilots:
Avalon DHV1/1-2: glider specially
designed for pilots wishing a maximum of passive security
and flying pleasure without making the slightest compromise
regarding handling. Its excellent flight characteristics
push the Avalon into the glider choice for beginner pilots
or trainees as well as experienced pilots flying infrequently.
Dragon 2 DHV1-2: Pure flying
pleasure! The Dragon2 is a smooth flying glider with great
handling and very sensitive feedback. She is designed for
new passionate pilots seeking for a glider for their first
paragliding years and also for more experienced pilots
who are flying just for the fun of flying. She is brilliant
for XC flights at a high safety level.
Acron
DHV2: The
Acron represents the passage to DHV2 certified gliders. This
glider is for pilots wanting to fly high-performance without
being obliged to fly a competition wing. The Acron allows
for fine and precise flying in thermals and it communicates
to the pilot, ensuring the pilot the gliders full resources.
Therefore the Acron is ideal for XC-flights, serial class
competitions and performance.
INDEPENDENCE OFFERS a Sport Pilot:
eXCalibur DHV2-3: as King Arthur’s
sword the Excalibur is sublime and majestic when in flight.
This rare glider has the ability to turn flat inside a
thermal or fly straight at a max speed of 58km/hr on trajectory.
This is a glider that only gives its maximum!
This glider is incredible with Acro-flying, try the dynamic

Other INDEPENDENCE offers:
Seven-UP: with optimisation
of the opening speed and pendulum stability has advanced
the field of security. 7-up is the result of two long yeas
of intensive research and is a completely new concept of
rescue parachute. The shape enabled INDEPENDENCE to erase
a lot of drawbacks present on conventional round parachutes
and reduce canopy volume and induces a completely different
opening sequence. The opening phase starts once suspension
lines are stretched. The opening time is thus shorter and
the opening shock is not as violent. Due to six outer parts
of the rescue has well-defined boundary layers the pendulum
movements of the parachute are highly decreased. DHV: confirmed
the Seven-up offers a never reached opening velocity and
pendulum stability and also an incredible sink rate.
Joker Reserve and Annular, the defined ring
shape and use of very specific material enable them to support
35% higher weights as other rescues with the same surface.
Resistance values established by the DHV are 40% higher than
the maximum flying weight. Sink rate is lower than the critical
6,8m/s. An inner container specially dedicated to opening
at low speeds, has been designed.
The Annular is available in 5 sizes.
